Mark W. Hopkins -

Mark Hopkins brings to Southwick Golf Course
30 years of experience as a Golf Professional. Mark began his PGA
apprenticeship at Ringgold Golf Club, a 27 hole facility located just
outside Danville, VA. After three years as an Assistant Golf
Professional, Mark advanced into the PGA Head Golf Professional
position at Ringgold and guided that club for the next four years.
During his seven year tenure as Professional, he was involved in
founding the Danville Church League and the annual Pepsi Invitational
Amateur Championship that continues today.
Mark
continued his career as Head Golf Professional at The Reserve Golf and
Tennis Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida, Glen
Oak Country Club in Danville, Virginia and Caswell Pines Golf Club in
Yanceyville, North Carolina. Some of the highlights of his career at
these courses include:

Mark has already played a role in Alamance
County golf by starting the Alamance Church Golf League. He is also a
principle in the Atlantic Coast Golf Tour that provides a competitive
proving ground for aspiring professional golfers.
Mark is married to wife Vera and has four
