2008 Church Golf League
1. Each week, the captain of the team
will select four players to represent the church. The opposing captain will
make the similar selection of players. Depending on the number of churches
entered, teams will not compete against each other more than once during the
season.
2. There will be
two(2), seven week halves during the season. We will crown a first half
champion and a second half champion. The winner of the regular season
championship will be determine by playoff between the
half winners on the tournament day.
3. The format for play in the first
half will best 3 of 4 individual net scores of each team. Points will be awarded
in relation to how the field finishes. See examples!
4. The format for play in the second half will be a four person Captain's
Choice NET. Teams will be given a handicap based on their individual handicaps.

As you can see the number of points are related to the number of
teams participating. Unlike years past, you will not be
competing directly against the team that your church in paired.
Churches will be playing against the field of churches each week.
